Questions people ask before they reach out.

What is intimacy and pleasure coaching?

It's a process of coming back to yourself. We look at your relationship with your own body, your desires, your sense of worthiness around pleasure — and we build from there. Most of my clients come in thinking something is wrong with them. What we usually find is that nothing is wrong. They've just been last on their own list for a very long time.

How is this different from therapy?

Therapists do essential work — they help you understand your history and process what's holding you back. Coaching is more specific and more forward-facing. We're not unpacking the past, we're building something new. A lot of my clients see a therapist and work with me at the same time. The two complement each other well, and I'm always happy to coordinate with your therapist if that's useful.

Do you work with couples?

No. I work with individuals only — whether you're partnered, single, or somewhere in between. My philosophy is that your relationship with yourself is the foundation everything else is built on. That's where we start, regardless of your relationship status. You can read more about why I work this way in this article.

What do sessions actually look like?

We meet weekly or every other week for 60-minute virtual sessions via Google Meet. You bring whatever is true for you that week. I bring a lens that looks at the whole picture — your body, your history, your relationships, your life. Between sessions I give you something small and specific to try. Not homework in the dreadful sense. More like an experiment. Something that fits inside your actual life.

How long does coaching last?

It depends on what you're working on and what pace feels right for you. Some people come for a focused intensive over a few months. Others stay longer. We talk through what makes sense on our first call. Packages start at $997 with monthly payment options available.

Is everything confidential?

Yes, completely. I won't share anything about our work together and I won't even confirm we're working together without your explicit permission.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

All sessions are virtual, which means I work with women across the US and beyond. I'm based in EST.

What topics do we cover?

Whatever is true for you. Common starting points include low or absent desire, disconnection from your body after kids or midlife changes, shame or guilt around sex and pleasure, curiosity about kink or ENM that you've never felt safe exploring, feeling like roommates with your partner, and the general sense of having lost the thread back to yourself. There's no topic that's off limits.

Is coaching right for me?

If you've done the therapy, read all the books, and understand yourself intellectually but your body still hasn't gotten the message — coaching is probably the missing piece. You don't need to be in crisis to start. You just need to be curious enough to show up.

What makes your approach different?

I have an MA in Counseling, which is unusual in this space. I also spent 15 years in marketing before coaching, which means I'm practical, direct, and not interested in fluff. My work starts with you — not the relationship, not the partner, not the performance. The key to a fulfilling life, including a fulfilling sex life, is remembering who you are. That's what we work toward.
